Imam Ali (pbuh) sat down facing the Jew and said, ‘O Jewish brother! Indeed the Honorable the Exalted God tested me on seven occasions during the lifetime of the Prophet (pbuh). I say this without praising myself. God found me obeying God’s blessing.’ The Jew said, ‘O Commander of the Faithful! On what occasions did God test you?’
